Dhaka Bashanta Utshab is one of the largest seasonal events of the country. According to the Bangla calendar, it is the first day of spring, and it is celebrated by thousands of young people, both male and female -- welcoming the advent of spring. Bd Bashanta Utshab Udjapan Parishad organised the celebration last night in the funds, which included renditions associated with songs, poems recitation and boogie by well-known artistes of Bangladesh. Master strokes - Dhaka Art Summit in April
Samdani Art Foundation (SAF), in collaboration with Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) and Bangladesh National Museum (BNM) in Dhaka, will organise the first Dhaka Art Summit.
The summit will be held from April 12 to 15 in the city of Dhaka. Sponsored by City Bank and American Express, the main venues of the summit will be the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and Bangladesh National Museum. Several other venues will host exhibitions, curatorial shows, seminars, presentations etc.

Sigma Haque Angkan's first solo exhibition in Dhaka
A solo sculpture exhibition, titled “Inheritance of Women”, is on at La Galerie of Alliance Française de Dhaka. The exhibition featuring works of Sigma Haque Angkan opened on January 27.
